Very fine and important gilt brass octagonal pre-balance spring single-hand pendant watch.
Three-train clock watch with six-hour striking and alarm.
Octagonal, the front cover faceted, fluted band, hinged faceted back with the centre pierced and engraved with a Renaissance rosette, octagonal pendant with loose bow, small turned finial.
Silver dial applied ring with Roman chapters, inner rotating gilt alarm dial with Arabic numerals in the German style, small rosette in the centre. Blued-steel 'arrow' hand.

Caliber 50 x 40 mm, gilded full plate, turned baluster pillars, fixed barrel engraved with foliage, verge escapement,wo-arm circular foliot, hog's bristle mounted on adjustable lever, gilt metal cock pierced and engraved with floral decoration with clear S-shaped skeleton, secured by a screw, five-wheel train with gilt four-spoke wheels, striking from a fixed barrel with a gilt hammer shaped and engraved like a boar's head, six-hour gilt count wheel mounted on the back plate, alarm also from a fixed barrel with four-wheel iron train, all barrels and the striking train escape wheel bridge florally engraved, strking and alarm on a shallow round bell mounted inside the back cover
