Notes

Case based on the Swiss invention patent No. 503 305, delivered on August 15, 1968, to Manufacture de boîtes de montres M.R.P. S.A., Alle (Jura), for a “Boîte de montre comprenant une lunette tournante”.
This model was sold to the French Navy but also to the Royal Navy of Great Britain, the United Kingdom’s naval warfare force. It is similar to the Auricoste “Spirotechnique” “Professional 200 meters” use by the French Navy, but here water-resistant tested to 1 000 meters.
he British used it during the Falklands Islands War (a brief undeclared war fought between Argentina and Great Britain in 1982 over control of the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) and associated island dependencies).
