Four-body, "bassine", polished, the front cover with engraved foliate monogram 'CW'. Hinged gold cuvette with black champleve inscription 'In kind remembrance of John H. Harjes, April 7-1896'. White enamel with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. 18''', rhodium plated, 17 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed, case numbered.
