EBEL SQUARE CHRONOMETRE Ebel, Chronometre, Swiss, No. 244869. Made circa 1910. Fine and unusual, large, square, enamel decorated and engraved 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch.

C. Two-body, square, 18K yellow gold, bezel and bow engraved with angled leaves, the case back decorated with blue and white enamel on an engine-turned ground, rounded corners. D. Champagne with black Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, with an engraved square fl oral motif. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to 2 positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 42 mm.
