EBERHARD REF. 656 CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Eberhard & Co., La Chaux-de-Fonds, "Extra-fort," case No. 14007-398. Made in the 1960s. Fine, large, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, telemeter and tachometer.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. Matte silver with applied gold dart indexes and Arabic numerals, outer minutes and 1/5th second track with 5-second Arabic markers, red 0-20 telemetric scale and black tachometer scale to 1000 UPH, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30 minutes register. Yellow gold dauphine hands. Cal. 1400, rhodium plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring.
