LINER NOTES The Who were memorable in Monterey, and thus began a huge US following after this appearance. Their contribution was memorable with smoke machines and remarkable theatrics. Keith Moon was an amazing and unforgettable drummer, and The Who performance was like nothing ever seen before. Moon's energy and skill were just the best, and their clothes were flamboyant and very British. -Elaine Mayes
