Notes

Lester Piggott (so called the long fellow) was a horse trainer and professional jockey. During his career he amassed 4493 flat racing victories and 9 Epsom Derby wins, making him one of the greatest flat racer of all times.
The watch is also engraved with the name of the racehorse Merry Madcap who Lester Piggott rode to victory at Newbury in 1964. The watch has further Cartier numbers engraved on the lugs.
