MINUTE-REPEATING TRIPLE CALENDAR MOON PHASE & CHRONOGRAPH Fix Watch Co., Madrid, "Cronometro Repeticion Fix, 1A Clase", No. 147057 case No. 50234, the movement Swiss, retailed by El Trust, Madrid. Made for the Spanish market, circa 1900. Fine, large, hunting-cased, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch with triple-date calendar, chronograph, register and moon phases.
Four-body, bassine, entirely engraved and engine-turned with flowers and scrolls, olive-shaped button at 4 for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds, date concentric with 30-minute register, apertures for the days of the week, months and for the moon phases. Blued steel spade hands. Cal. 21```, frosted gilt, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button on the band.
