Notes

This watch is part of a limited edition made in collaboration with the McLaren Team for the 24 Hours Le Mans in 1997. An intense bond links the constructors of great automobiles with fans of fine mechanical movements. For this race, the German constructor Porsche dominated the 1996 edition by placing their cars at first, second and third position in the final classification. The Frank Muller's Team McLaren Number 53, after a great start, had a string of bad luck which delayed its participation ithe race and the damage to the gear box ultimately forced the pilots to withdraw from the race. This withdrawal did not prevent Frank Muller from climbing up to the podium. The winners, in fact, were presented by the Swiss watchmaker in the presence of Mr. Fillon, Delegated Minister of Post and Telecommunications, with a magnificent Endurance 24 chronograph, the official watch of the competition. This24 hours chronograph pays tribute to historic races such asLe Mans or Daytona.
