Franck Muller The young and already legendary watchmaker Franck Muller is donating his personal watch which he has chosen for its strong design that prefigures a wristwatch collection characterized by bold tones in harmony with avant-garde proportion and balance. It symbolizes his own constant quest for renewal. The Elton John AIDS Foundation is an international non-profit organization which provides funding for programs that provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS, educational programs targeted at AIDS prevention, and/or elimination of prejudice and discrimination against HIV affected individuals. The Charity, with offices in Los Angeles and London, was established in 1992 by Elton John, who currently serves as its Chairman. Funding from the Elton John AIDS Foundation encompasses a broad spectrum of direct care services supporting men, women, young adults, children, infants, minorities, and entire families living with HIV/AIDS. Grants secured by the organization support numerous services and programs ranging from funding for the latest effective drug treatment programs to food banks, meal delivery programs, legal aid, hospices, housing, counseling, support groups, education outreach programs, athome care, and pediatric treatment centers. Recently, the North American-based Elton John AIDS Foundation established a collaborative effort with the National AIDS Fund in Washington, D.C. , to facilitate the distribution of grants on a nationwide basis. These grants are issued as a challenge to the National AIDS Fund's local community member partnerships who then multiply the efforts of the Elton John AIDS Foundation. From 1992 to 1998, the Elton John AIDS Foundation funded more than 700 grants in North America.
