GOLD & ENAMEL MANDOLIN FORM WATCH Attributed to Fres Les Raffard, (Geneva). Made circa 1810. Very fine, 18K gold, enamel and pearl-set mandolin-form watch with concealed dial. Accompanied by a gold and enamel key.

Two-body, mandolin-form fermée type, the band decorated with black champlevé enamel and pearls, the back with translucent royal blue enamel and an enameled musical score on engraved gold foliage, the front overlaid with translucent red enamel and set with pearls, gold strings.White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel Breguet hands. 21 mm. matte gilt full plate, fuse and chain verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring, continental balance clock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial.
