GALLET, SINGLE BUTTON CHRONOGRAPH, BLACK DIAL, STEEL Gallet & Cie, Swiss, "Chronograph", case No. 44660. Made in the 1930s. Unusual, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with mobile lugs, oval shaped button chronograph, register, tachometer and telemeter.

Three-body, polished and brushed, concave bezel. Black with subsidiary dials for the hours and minutes at 12 and the 30-minute register at 6, outer 1/5th seconds scale and telemeter graduation, at the center, spiral tachometric scale. Blued steel "epée" hands. Cal. 12 1/2''', rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance-spring.
