Stainless steel, manual-winding, “tonneau”-shaped, gentleman’s wristwatch with snap-on case-back, 12-hour graduated bidirectional revolving steel bezel, silver colour dial with subsidiary seconds at 9 and two horological complications including 1/5 second chronograph, half-instantaneous 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and time indication in 25 major cities around the World on the dial. Case stamped with the Swiss Federal Cross and the mention “AS / 7584” (Armée Suisse = Swiss Army).

Gallet, “Flight Officer”, model “AS / 7584”
The last model of wrist-chronographs of the Gallet Watch Co., produced under the direction of Pierre and Bernard Gallet, was in fact made circa 1980 with Russian Poljot 3133 movements (200 pieces). Contrary to what the stamped inscription on the case-back suggests, “AS / 7584” (AS for Armée Suisse or Swiss Army), these were not ordered by the Swiss Army.
