GERALD GENTA TOURBILLON DATE, POWER RESERVE Gérald Genta, Genève, "Tourbillon", No. 03, case No. 51018, Ref. 4028.7. Made in the 1990's. Very fine and unusual, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, date, power reserve and a Gérald Genta 18K yellow gold double deployant clasp.
Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, cylindrical lugs of octagonal section, transparent case back with 8 screws, sapphire crystals. Porcelain white with painted radial Roman numerals, aperture for the tourbillon regulator with crystal seconds dial with silver painted numerals, hand-engraved gold bridge, carrying the red seconds hand, outer scale for date indication, 64-hour power reserve indication. Yellow gold épée hands. Cal. 14''', stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, skeletonized and hand engraved, gilt, 29 jewels, lateral lever escapement with oneminute tourbillon regulator with A-shaped steel frame under a polished "GG" steel bridge, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, skeletonized and handengraved rotor.
