GERALD GENTA YELLOW GOLD TOURBILLON Gérald Genta, Genève, "Tourbillon", No. 020, movement No. 12, case No. 46729, Ref. G 4008.4. Sold on December 21, 1989. Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and a Gérald Genta 18K yellow gold double deployant clasp. Accompanied by the Certificate of Origin.
Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, cylindrical lugs of octagonal section, transparent case back with 8 screws, sapphire crystals. Porcelain white with painted radial Roman numerals, aperture for the tourbillon regulator with crystal seconds dial with silver painted numerals, hand-engraved gold bridge carrying the red seconds hand. Yellow gold épée hands. Cal. 14''', stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, skeletonized and hand engraved, gilt, 29 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator with A-shaped steel frame under a polished "GG" steel bridge, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, skeletonized and hand-engraved rotor.
