GERALD GENTA REF. 4008.4 YELLOW GOLD TOURBILLON Gérald Genta, Genève, "Tourbillon," No. 01, case No. 46741, Ref. G 4008.4. Made circa 1990. Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and a Gérald Genta 18K yellow gold double deployant clasp. Accompanied by a box.
Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, cylindrical lugs of octagonal section, transparent case back with 8 screws, sapphire crystals. White enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, aperture for the tourbillon regulator with crystal seconds dial with silver painted numerals, hand-engraved gold bridge carrying the red seconds hand. Yellow gold epée hands. Cal. 14```, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, skeletonized and hand engraved, gilt, 29 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator with A-shaped steel frame under a polished "GG" steel bridge, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, skeletonized and hand-engraved rotor.
