GIRARD-PERREGAUX - DOCTOR'S GOLD CHRONOGRAPH Girard-Perregaux, Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 352952. Made circa 1910. Fine and rare, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with chronograph, register and pulsations scale.
Four-body, bassine, polished, the engine-turned back cover with vacant foliate engraved cartouche, co-axial button in the crown for start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the Prize Medals. White enamel with black Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second track, outermost red pulsations scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register. Blued steel Breguet hands. 18''', rhodium plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work.
