GIRARD PERREGAUX CHRONOGRAPH STEEL Girard Perregaux, "17 jewels, waterproof", case No. 935074. Made in the 1960s. Fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer and telemeter scales.
Two-body, polished and brushed, lapidated lugs, stepped bezel, screwed-down case back. Silver with applied steel baton indexes, subisidiary dials for the seconds and 45-minute registers, outer 1/5 second/ minute divisions, outermost tachometer and telemeter scale. Luminous steel baton hands. Rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration,17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
