GIRARD PERREGAUX REF. 49541 CHRONO MONTE-CARLO RALLY STEEL Girard-Perregaux, "Chronograph Sport - Monte-Carlo 1976," No. 247 / 1000, Ref. 49541. Made in a limited edition of 1000 pieces in 2006 to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Munari and Maiga's victory in the Lancia Stratos at the 1976 Monte-Carlo Rally. Fine, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, tachometer, date, and a Girard-Perregaux rubber strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. Accompanied by fitted box, guarantee card, instruction booklet and Monte-Carlo Rally 1976 history pamphlet.

Three body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, screwed down crown, concave lugs, case back with 7 screws and engraved with the commemorative details, sapphire crystal. Black with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minutes/ seconds divisions and tachometer scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds, 12-hours and tricolor 30-minute register, aperture for the date between 4 and 5. White luminous sword hands. Cal. GP19C0, 13''', rhodium-plated, 62 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring.
