The signature Girard Perregaux Three Gold Bridges is inspired by the famous La Esmeralda pocket watch of 1889. This lot, named The Quasar Azure, illustrates a luminous astronomical entity—the Quasar. Its azure blue case is sculpted from a single sapphire disc.
This bold design is breathtaking, allowing light to pass through the sapphire case and spotlighting the bridges and movement. The blue hue offers a modern horological expression while housing the traditional Three Gold Bridges movement—a perfect marriage of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

The purchase price payable by a buyer will be the sum of the final bid price plus the buyer’s premium, together with any applicable sales or compensating use tax. In addition to the hammer price, the buyer’s premium is payable as follows: 26% of the hammer price on each lot.
