GIRARD-PERREGAUX REF. 4980 WORLD TIME CHRONOGRAPH TITANIUM Girard-Perregaux, World Time Chronograph, No. 479, Ref. 4980. Made in the 2000s. Very fine, large, world time, self-winding, titanium wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers, date, two crowns, 24-hour day and night indication and a Girard Perregaux titanium buckle.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, transparent case back with 6 screws, rounded bezel, concave lugs, screw-down winding crown at 9 to rotate the city disc, at 3 for time setting and adjusting the night/day function, sapphire crystals
D. Bicolor satine black and white with applied luminous round white gold indexes, Arabic 12, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, outer black and white revolving ring with painted Arabic numerals for 24 hours, outermost revolving disc bearing names of 24 world locations, aperture for the date between 1 & 2. Luminous white gold feuille hands.
M. Cal. 3387, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes and oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 63 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 43 mm. THICKNESS 14 mm.
