Notes

A watch worthy of a-king 8C owner: the Contagiri
8C Competizione by Giuliano Mazzuoli, a mechanical homage to Alfa Romeo's ultimate Gran Turismo.
Inspired by the 8C Competizione's rev counter, it swaps the traditional crown for a gearshift-style hidden lever, featuring a retrograde hour display that sweeps across the dial in a 270° movement before snapping back. Its perpetual function is assured by the Calibre GM Cambiosequenziale/01 alternance 10 self-winding mechanism, made up of 131 individual parts (including 29 jewels), running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve. Water-resistant up to 50 meters, the 13.3 × 44 mm case is available in stainless steel with black diamond-like carbon or 18-karat rose gold with titanium.
Limited to 500 units, just like the 8C Competizione that inspired it, the Contagiri comes with an individually handmade leather box, matched to the color of the owner's car.
For its launch back in 2010, the first-ever 8C Competizione owners' meeting was organized in Tuscany by Giuliano Mazzuoli, himself a lifelong Alfista and 8C Competizione owner.
