GOLAY LERESCHE - VERY RARE FIVE-MINUTE REPEATING WITH QUARTER-REPEATING WATCH - BREGUET DIAL Golay Leresche & Fils, Golay Fils & Stahl, Srs, Genève, 2 Rue de la Paix, Paris, No. 14116. Made circa 1910. Extremely fine and equally rare, five-minute and quarter repeating, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch.
Four-body, bassine, polished, semi-concealed hinge. Hinged cuvette. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. 20''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on two gongs with two hammers activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
