Two-body, rectangular with engraved rounded corners, serpentine side panels with painted-on-enamel rural alpine lakeside scenes, set within engraved borders, bird cover painted with a scene of a shepherd and shepherdess with a caged bird, the scene continues on the top panel. M. Rectangular brass, going barrel and rectangular bellows, the revolving bird with moving wings and beak, controlled by two cams mounted beneath the barrel wheel, gilt brass grill pierced and engraved with foliage. DIM. 7.4 x 4.8 x 10.8 cm.
