L. Guinand, Swiss, No. 7118. Made circa 1900. Very fine, keyless, minute-repeating, 14K yellow gold pocket watch. Four-body, "bassine", solid, polished, case back with engraved monogram, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel with painted radial arabic indexes, outer minute divisions with red arabic numerals, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands 38 mm. nickel plated, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, main rubies with gold screwed chatons, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band.
