Notes

A masterpiece of independent watchmaking, the H. Moser & Cie. Swiss Alp Watch Minute Retrograde is a bold and philosophical statement on modern timekeeping. Launched at SIHH 2017, this watch presents a sleek, «smartwatch» aesthetic that conceals one of the most creative and complex mechanical movements of its era.
At its heart beats the extraordinary HL2.0 calibre. This intricate movement, originally developed by Hautlence, was integrated into the Swiss Alp Watch thanks to the shared lineage of both brands under the MELB Holding group, uniting their technical ingenuity in a single timepiece.

The HL2.0 movement is defined by its kinetic artistry. Its essence is a jumping hour display, driven by a twelve-link belt that advances in a deliberate, few-second sequence. This action, in turn, causes the movement to jump 60 degrees on a wrist-
parallel axis each hour. This mesmerizing ballet is complemented by a dynamic retrograde minute hand that instantly resets after its 60-minute sweep.

Encased in 18K white gold, the watch offers multiple perspectives on its intricate mechanics through a semi-transparent smoked sapphire crystal dial, discreet side sapphire crystal and a full exhibition caseback. As one of only ten pieces ever created, this timepiece is not merely a watch, but a rare and profound achievement in independent haute horlogerie.
