HAAS JEUNE - THE PARAKEETS B. Haas J.ne & Cie., 5, Quai du Mont Blanc, Geneve, No. 17558. Made circa 1890. Fine and elegant, 18K gold and enamel, keyless lady's pendant watch with detachable gold, pearl and Limoges-style enamel brooch. Accompanied by a fine gold-tooled morocco leather and beadwork period box.

Four-body, "bassine", engraved bezels and band, the front cover decorated with a fine painted on enamel and colored paillon scene of two parakeets amongst foliage, the back cover decorated with a flower spray. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and red five-minute numerals. Gold spade hands. 10''', frosted gilt, bar caliber, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case and cuvette signed.
