HAEFLIGER STERLING SILVER NIELLO Haefliger Freres, Lucerne, Swiss, No. 17721. Made circa 1910. Fine and rare, thin, silver, open faced, keyless dress watch.

Three-body, bassine, hinged niello back cover decorated in a chain pattern and an off-center blanc silver crest, the bezel decorated to match. Guilloche champagne with black painted Breguet numerals on a plain reserve, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. Cal. 26 mm. frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
