The movement used in this watch was produced at 201 900 examples.
The Hamilton “Gilbert” model was introduced in 1941, just before the US entered the war, and then reintroduced after the end of the WWII. This model remained in production until 1951. It was presented in a 14K yellow gold case with a sterling silver dial and 18K gold numerals.
