HAMILTON, MODEL 23, CONVERTED PILOT'S SINGLE-BUTTON CHRONOGRAPH BLACK DIAL chromium -plated Hamilton, case No. 443461, Model 23. Made circa 1940. Fine and rare, large, stainless steel wristwatch with single-button chronograph and register.

Three-body, polished, inclined bezel, concave lugs, co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return- to-zero functions of the chronograph, screw-down caseback with military inscription. Black with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute registers. Luminous white hands. Cal. P58, rhodium plated, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut monometallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
