HANHART ADDI-STOP DUAL CHRONO-TIMER ORIGINAL BOX Hanhart Addi-Stop, Schwenningen, Germany, No. 475. Made circa 1945. Fine and rare, dual 30/60-second & 1/10th second chronograph watch and timer mounted together in a painted aluminium case, capable of being started in unison for timing two simultaneous events or the timer operated independently. Accompanied by the original Hanhart fitted box.
Rectangular, gray painted, with rounded upper corners, the front panel with two apertures for the watches and secured by 4 screws, massive central button to start/stop the watches in unison, two crowns for winding, the left hand timer crown also independently starts and stops the timer, button on each corner for the return-to-zero. Right: brushed silvered with gilt Arabic and dot indexes, outer 10ths of a second divisions with outermost black Arabic seconds numerals 1-30 and inner 31-60 in red, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 15-minute register. Gilt alpha hands. Left: white with outer 10ths of a second divisions with outermost black Arabic seconds numerals 1-30 and inner 31-60 in red, subsidiary 15-minute register. The watch, 17 jewels, shockproof, the timer 11 jewels.
