Notes
Harald Schade, A.K.K., Zürich
The present watch is part of a series of 150 examples made by the watchmaker and watch expert Harald Schade in the early 1980’s in Zürich. Its rarity is enhanced by the self-winding chronograph movement signed by Zenith, Le Locle, and Movado, La Chaux-de-Fonds, who joined their forces and founded in 1969 the Mondia-Zenith-Movado holding. The movement presented was at the time considered the most advanced wristwatch featuring a thin self-winding movement with date, chronograph, 30-minute and 12-hour recorders, and became an immediate success, the legendary “El Primero”.
