Silver (0.875 / 84), manual-winding, round-shaped, large and early military wristwatch, hinged case-back, mobile lugs, white enamel dial with large luminescent suspended Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 and two horological complications:
· 1/5 second chronograph (activated by the single round-shaped push-piece located on the winding-crown at 12 o’clock)
· Half-instantaneous 30-minute counter (subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock)

Moser, Johann Heinrich (1805-1874)
Swiss watchmaker, son of a clockmaker, moved to St. Petersburg about 1827, where he opened a watch business (Nevskii Prospect and Malaya Konyushennaya Street). He had also a branch in Moscow. Moscow registers shows that he had an office there from 1827 to 1874 on Ilinka Street. In 1874, the son Henry Moser, Jr., took over the business. The Moser Co. did business all over Russia, including so far places as Vladivostok in Siberia. In the third quarter of the 19th century they became suppliers to the Tsar.
