CLARTE FOR HERMES DIGITAL PURSE WATCH Clarté, Swiss, made for Hermes, Paris. Made in the 1930s. Stainless steel Art Deco keyless purse watch with digital minute and jump-hour display with a stainless steel 38 cm chain.

C. Two-body, rectangular with hinged upper lid revealing the winding crown, steel case with central silver circular dial with apertures for hours and minutes, loop for chain in the lower corner
D. White with black Arabic hour numerals to the upper disc, Arabic 5 minutes with minute track to the lower disc.
M. Cal. 12???, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case and movement signed by maker, case also signed by retailer. Dim. 35 mm x 46 mm.
