HEUER/ LEONIDAS CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD PLATED 38 MM Heuer Leonidas, No. 61068. Made in the 1950s. Fine, very rare and large, water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, yellow gold-plated wristwatch with olive button chronograph and register with a Heuer leather strap.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, snap-on case back. Black with luminous arabic indexes, auxiliary dials for the seconds and 30 minute and 12-hour registers, outer minute 1/5 second track, outermost telemeter scale. Luminous yellow gold "baton" hands. Rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, blued steel balance- spring.
