HEUER CALCULATOR Heuer, "Calculator, Automatic Chronograph", case No.305601. Made in the 1970's. Fine and unusual, oversized, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, self-winding stainless steel left-handed wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, date, bezel with slide rule and a stainless steel Heuer bracelet with deployant clasp.
Three-body, polished and brushed, hooded lugs, screwed-down case back, winding- crown at 9, chronograph buttons at 2 and 4, revolving double bezel serving as silde rule to convert kilometers into nautical knots, yards and miles and measures in US gallons, flat sapphire crystal. Navy blue with applied luminous steel baton indexes, outer minutes/seconds divisions, subsidiary dials for the 12-hour and 30-minute registers marked by red segments every 5 minutes, aperture for the date. Luminous orange baton hands. Cal. 12, gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator, micro rotor. Dial, case and movement signed.
