Notes

As was often the case, watchmaking schools in Switzerland were given cases and movements so the students could learn. Firms such as Rolex and Patek Philippe greatly contributed to the formation of the future watchmakers and examples such as this one cased in a Pre-Carrera Heuer chronograph case with small pushers are very rare and seldom seen.
