Notes

Heuer “Monaco”, Ref. 1533, Cal. 15
The Cal. 15 movement was a low-cost version of the Cal. 11 movement introduced in 1972 and offered across the “Monaco”, “Autavia” and “Carrera” ranges, alongside the Cal. 12 variants. The Cal. 15 watches have a 30-minute recorder at 3 o’clock and sweeping seconds at 9:30 on the dial where the 12-hour recorder would normally be on a Cal. 11 and Cal. 12. Heuer took the revised movement layout as an opportunity to offer a totally new look for the Cal. 15 watches, and as a result some collectors prefer the look of the Cal. 15 models to the “standard” Cal. 11 or Cal. 12 versions (source calibre11.com)
