Very fine and rare polychrome painted, ormolu and chiselled gilded bonze, 8-day going, key-winding, "Chinoiserie" mantel clock, in the shape of a "Louis-Philippe" architecture, surmounted by a Chinese woman carrying a fan and serving tea, with hour and half-hour striking on a bell; the base decorated, in bas-relief, with Chinese dignitaries on a boat navigating on a river, with a pagoda in the background; made for the Chinese market. Silver colour dial with Roman numerals; blued steel "Breguet" hands.
