"Portuguese Perpetual" International Watch Co., Schaffhausen, "Portuguese - Perpetual Calendar", Ref. 5021. Made circa 2005. Very fine and rare, large, astronomic, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with secular perpetual calendar, moon phases, 7-day power reserve indicator and an 18K yellow gold IWC deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave lugs, stepped concave bezel, transparent case back with 6 screws, sapphire crystals. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, outer dot minute markers, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the day, date, months and the 7-day up-and-down indication, apertures for the moon phases and the 4-digit year. Yellow gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. C 50611, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 66 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator, skeletonized rotor with gold medallion inlay engraved "IWC - Probus Scafusia."
