The Big Pilot is one of the most popular IWC watches. Originally with a Cal. 50110 2,5Hz movement (18,000 half beats/hour), a few of the 5002 series with serial numbers 3145XXX and above used the new 3Hz (21,600 hbph) Cal. 51110 movement, as in Ref. 5004. The 5002 examples feature the Probus style crown that replaced the fish-symbol design. They are desirable for their transitional status
