Very fine and rare, heavy 18K yellow gold cabriolet pocket watch with a short 18K yellow gold chain and 18K gold and hardstone-set key. C. Six body, "bassine et fi lets", solid, polished, stepped bezel and back, the inner case rotating to either conceal or expose the dial as required, release button in the pendant. Gold hinged cuvette, underneath an extra cover with 2 apertures for winding/setting. D. white enamel with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Black and gold Breguet hands. M. C.9725, hand engraved, gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator.
