Launched in 1978, the new Porsche-Designed IWC compass watch was groundbreaking at the time. Featuring a hinged case that covered the compass, the case had to be anti-magnetic in order to ensure the accuracy of the compass as well as the movement that had antimagnetic rotor bearing. Almost always found in the black PVD-coated case, the green edition is very rarely seen.
