IWC PORTUGUESE CHRONOGRAPH "DESCOBERTA DO BRASIL" PINK GOLD IWC, International Watch Co., Schaffhausen, "Portuguese - Chronograph Automatic", No. 042/100, case No. 2747599, Ref. 3714. Made in a limited series of 100 pieces in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the discovery of Brazil in 2000. Very fine and rare, large, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, register and an 18K pink gold IWC buckle. Accompanied by the original numbered IWC fitted box, guarantee and instruction manual.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, flat bezel, concave lugs, dedicated case back with 4 screws, sapphire crystal. Matte silver depicting the Atlantic ocean with 4 Continents showing the route from Portugal to Brazil in red with applied pink gold Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register, outer dot divisions, outermost minute/second divisions. Pink gold feuille hands. Cal. C79350, gilt brass, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, hack mechanism.
