Notes

IWC, “Aquatimer Chronograph” “A Tribute to J.Y. Cousteau, 1910-2010”
Special edition made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth (June 11) of the famous French explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau (1910-1997).
IWC, a long-time partner of the Cousteau Society, is dedicating a fifth special edition to the “Commandant” on the occasion of this anniversary. No other explorer of the 20th century has made such a breakthrough in underwater research and left such a legendary mark on it. He was immediately recognizable by his red woollen cap at the helm of his famous ship, the “Calypso”.
