INTERNATIONAL WATCH CO. REF. 5441 PORTUGUESE 1868-1993 PLATINUM International Watch Co, Schaffhausen, Portuguese, case No. 171/250, No. 2498337, Ref. 5441. Made in a limited series of 250 examples in 1993 for the 125th anniversary of IWC. Very fine and rare, large, platinum wristwatch with a platinum IWC buckle. Accompanied by a blank warranty card, service and warranty booklet and IWC booklet.

Three-body, polished and brushed, rounded bezel, concave lugs, transparent snap-on case back, band engraved with "171/250". Silver with applied platinum Arabic numerals and dots indexes, subsidiary guillochè dial for the seconds. Platinum feuille hands. Cal. 9828, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, monometallic balance, straight line lever escapement, Breguet balance spring, adjusted to five positions, shock absorber, swan-neck regulator.
