Launched in 2012 as a set known as the Father and Son, it was comprised of a Big Pilot in platinum and a Mark XVI in steel. Luckily if you had more than one son, upon purchasing the set you could order extra Mark XVI’s which is most certainly the case of the present watch. It is the first time that one has ever been offered at auction.
