Notes

It's extremely rare to find a centre-seconds watch made at this time, especially with a verge escapement. Several watchmakers and casemakers ("monteurs de boîtes"), as well as painters on enamel, bearing this surname are listed in Geneva in the second half of the 18th century and in the early 19th century.
