Notes

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Millennium Atmos Clock, number 34 in a limited series, is a remarkable tribute to the third Millennium. This exquisite timepiece features a wooden and glass case adorned with inlaid marquetry panels by Philippe Monti and Jérôme Boutteçon, depicting Spring maidens inspired by Alphonse Mucha’s paintings. The base conceals a hidden drawer housing 10 lacquered and gilt-brass cylinders, each containing parchment for recording significant events. At its core is an enhanced Atmos model with an extraordinary 1000-year calendar, symbolizing a millennium-long journey through time. This horological masterpiece comes complete with millennial cylinders, writing accessories, and an impressive leather-bound presentation trunk with gilt-brass hardware and 16 compartments. Measuring approximately 80 cm x 63.5 cm x 33 cm and weighing about 50 lbs, this trunk serves as a fitting home for this exceptional timepiece that blends artistry, craftsmanship and horological innovation.
