Jaeger LeCoultre, "Duo-Plan", No. 48588. Produced in the 1940s. Very fine, and rare rectangular bombé, 18K pink gold gentleman?s wristwatch.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, case back with screws, flared lugs, ultra-"bombé" tunnel-shaped crystal, back winder. D. Pink inclined with painted Arabic numerals and applied markers. Pink gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 5''', "Duo- Plan", signed Jaeger LeCoultre, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, lateral lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance-spring. Dial and movement signed, numbered on the case. Diam. 13 x 22 mm.Thickness 9 mm.
